Update on San Pedro Sula from Henry B. Villagran:
I had travel to SPS via AA today 11/26/98 Flight 941
from Miami to SPS pilot try every posible way for a touch down
and flying VFR and IFR it was very impossible for a touch down
with a 727. AA personal was very profesional handling the situation
they had try every effort, and also, we went to SAN SALVADOR
where we could not get off the plane because of Immigration reasons
and we went back to Miami where we are scheduled for future
flights.
People have to understand that during the emergency situation at Honduras they have to give priority to medicine or medical
equipment and be reasonable, not only with AA but
with all the airlines that are taking all the supplies to HONDURAS
and not over load baggage. Hope to see and be in Honduras soon.
